Mr Mattar is an independent director of Hong Leong Finance Limited and Tiger Airways Holdings Limited.

He is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation Ltd and a member of the Council of Presidential Advisers. He was formerly the Senior Partner of Deloitte & Touche. Mr Mattar is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
