Keppel O&M Corporation Orientation
The orientation serves as a linkage between the parent company, Keppel O&M and its individual yards. It perpetuates Keppel O&M’s Core Values, Mission and Vision, and acquiants our new employees with our businesses and culture, hence promoting an understanding of the synergy of individual business units. During the Orientation, new hires also get a chance to mingle with the Senior Management and Mentors. Teambuilding activities are also infused into the orientation to make the session memorable.
Sports
While we work hard at Keppel O&M, we also have several activities throughout the year to revitalise and energise our employees.
- Inter-SBU Games – Teams from across the Keppel Group come together to compete and win the coveted overall challenge trophy.
- Dragon Boat Club – Join the Keppel Dragons as they take part in annual corporate and open category Dragon Boat events and races.
- ASMI Bowling
- Temasek Games
- Corporate Community Games
Keppel O&M Family Day
The Keppel Offshore & Marine Family Day is an annual event held for our employees to foster camaraderie and a platform for family members to become acquainted with our colleagues.
The 2007 family day was especially memorable as Keppel O&M placed itself in both the Guinness World Records and The Singapore Book of Records by forming the “Longest Chain of Safety Helmets”.
As we celebrated our 5th Anniversary, we commemorated the occasion with a specially commissioned song aptly titled ‘We Can Do!’

Family Movie Screening
Occasional movie screenings are organised for employees and invitation is extended to their family members. Complimentary tickets for these movies are distributed to employees via a balloting system. Customised Keppel O&M movie gift cards are also awarded to well-performing employees who took on additional roles above and beyond their normal duties. In addition to the educational value the movies are selected for, they also provide employees work-life balance and quality time with their family and friends.
Keppelite Recreation Club
The Keppelite Recreation Club was set up to build rapport among employees through sporting and recreation activities. Club membership is open to all Keppelites and currently has more than 3,000 members. The club focuses on activities in three main areas of Social, Sports and Community Service.
