2009
Keppel FELS received top awards at the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) Prestigious Engineering Achievement Awards 2009 for its environmentally-friendly offshore rig designs.
At the Annual Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Awards held by the WSH Council and the Ministry of Manpower, Keppel O&M was bestowed 14 safety awards for sterling newbuild and conversion projects without incidents. Keppel Singmarine also garnered the Silver Award for Workplace Safety & Health Performance for the third year in a row.
Keppel FELS garnered the ‘Intergraph 3D Design Award 2009’ at the annual Intergraph Golden Valve Awards Competition for their detailed showcasing of a semi-submersible drilling tender created with SmartMarine 3D design software.
Keppel O&M was bestowed the ‘Offshore & Marine Engineering Award’, while Mr Choo Chiau Beng, CEO of Keppel Corporation and Chairman of Keppel O&M was conferred the ‘International Maritime Centre (Individual) Award’ at Singapore International Maritime Awards 2009.
Keppel O&M was named the ‘Most Admired Enterprise for Employment’ among large-scale Southeast Asian companies at the ASEAN Business Awards 2008.

Keppel O&M and Keppel FELS were ranked sixth and 11th respectively in the ‘Singapore International 100 Ranking’, based on 2007 overseas revenue.
Keppel FELS was conferred the ‘MAXA 2008’ Award by the Economic Development Board, McKinsey & Company and the Singapore-MIT Alliance, which recognises outstanding manufacturing innovation and operational excellence.
Keppel Verolme won the ‘Golden Gazelle Award 2008’ conferred by Financieele Dagblad, a renowned Dutch financial newspaper, in the category of large companies with turnover of €30 million or more.
Keppel Shipyard won the ‘Best Shiprepair Yard Award’ at the Lloyd’s List Asia Awards for the fourth year running.
Keppel FELS received the ‘Fastest Growing 50 Certification’ for outstanding financial performance and consistent growth from the DP Information Group.
Keppel Shipyard was presented the ‘Distinguished Defence Partner Award for Employers’ at the Total Defence Awards for its support and contributions as a civil resource owner.
Keppel Shipyard received the ‘Shipyard Award’ from Seatrade Asia Awards, which recognises improvements in the development, diversification and cost efficiency of a shipyard.
Keppel Verolme was named one of ‘The Netherlands’ 50 Best Managed Companies’ at the 2008 Deloitte Gala Awards for its outstanding business practices and performance.

Keppel O&M and Keppel FELS were ranked seventh and sixteenth respectively in the ‘Singapore International 100 Ranking’, based on 2006 overseas revenue.
Keppel O&M was conferred the ‘Offshore & Marine Engineering Award 2007’ for its distinguished contributions to the industry at the Singapore International Maritime Awards.
Keppel O&M was elected to the Offshore Energy Center’s Hall of Fame as a ‘Technology Pioneer’ in the Construction – Rig Building Shipyards category.
Keppel Shipyard secured Lloyd’s List Maritime Asia Award for being the ‘Best Shiprepair Yard’ in Asia, for the third year running.
Keppel Singmarine won the ‘SHARE Platinum Award’ and the ‘5-Year Outstanding SHARE Award’ in recognition of its patronage of the Community Chest SHARE Programme. Keppel FELS also received the ‘SHARE Achiever Award’ and the ‘SHARE Corporate Gold Award’ for matching its employees’ contributions while Keppel Shipyard won the ‘SHARE Gold Award’.
Keppel O&M was conferred the ‘Outstanding Contribution Award’ for garnering the most pledges to its industry’s workplace safety and health in the National Workplace Safety and Health Campaign.

Keppel FELS Brasil was honoured with the ‘Premio Top Award for 2005/2006’ in Brazil’s Offshore & Marine construction sector from Brazil’s industry journals for corporate, business and social excellence.
Keppel Shipyard secured Lloyd’s List Maritime Asia Award for being the ‘Best Shiprepair Yard in Asia’ for the second consecutive year.
Keppel O&M bagged seven out of nine Silver awards in the Marine category at the annual Workplace, Safety and Health Awards (WSH), co-organised by the Ministry of Manpower and the Workplace, Safety and Health Advisory Committee (WSHAC).

Keppel O&M was inducted as an Honouree for the CIO 100 Index of Innovative Enterprises for 2005 in recognition of its strategic use of IT solutions to deliver innovation, value and high returns to our businesses.
Keppel FELS received the ‘Singapore Innovation Class’ certification from SPRING Singapore.
Keppel O&M garnered an impressive list of 41 awards during the Annual Safety Performance Awards presentation by the Ministry of Manpower.
The Ministry of Defence awarded Keppel Shipyard the ‘Meritorious Defence Partner Award’ for its contribution as a Civil Resource Owner.
Keppel Shipyard became the first Singapore yard to receive the ‘Best Shiprepair Yard Award’ at the 7th Lloyd’s List Maritime Asia Awards.
Keppel FELS was a finalist for the 'Innovative Thinkers Award' at the 2005 World Oil Awards for its market-leading KFELS B Class jackup design.
